ST MARY’S WOMEN’S RETREAT OCTOBER 1-3, 2021
Missing being with your friends? Longing for a deeper connection with God? Please do join us at this year’s St Mary’s Women’s Retreat up in the beautiful autumnal countryside around Shrinemont. Mother Sara is looking forward to leading the retreat and getting to know each one of you better. There will be a variety of offerings to nourish heart, mind and soul. We will learn more about labyrinths and how to get the most spiritually out of walking them; we will try a creative method for praying, using the book Praying in Color by Sybil MacBeth. Everyone is invited to bring their favorite psalm and to briefly share with our group why you have chosen this psalm. We will explore the psalms as a means of connecting fully with God, using all of our emotions, of joy and also of grief. Mother Sara will offer three times to meet with her one on one for Spiritual Direction.
As we share meals together and have time just to relax and be, to walk alone or with others, to take a nap, may this be a wonderfully restorative time for us all. Please sign up as soon as possible.
This year we are offering single rooms at a higher cost, if you do not want to share a room. Cost - $205 double occupancy and $275 single occupancy.
