(Updated Thursday, December 23rd at 3pm)

The birth of Our Lord will go forward as scheduled but with major changes in how we celebrate due to the Omicron variant. Over the next several weeks it is better to deal with our disappointment that yet again we cannot worship the way we would like than to place persons at risk.

  • The 4pm pageant has been canceled (see below for details).

  • The 8pm service will be livestreamed and will have have only clergy, choir spread throughout the Nave, layreaders, ushers and acolytes.

  • NEW: On Christmas Eve join us outside the Glebe Road entrance for caroling from 9:00 to 9:30pm.

  • The 11pm Christmas Eve service and Christmas Day service has been canceled.

  • We will not be holding weekday services following Christmas Day and all worship will remain virtual until further notice.

While the pandemic has forced many changes of plans, it is likely that we will not be able to go to full-time Sunday school on the 9th of January as we had planned.

Please stay safe, please stay patient, and most of all, please give thanks to God for the Birth of our Savior.

May the Peace of the Lord always be with you.

Christmas Eve Caroling

Wear your Christmas best and join us in front of the Glebe Road entrance on Christmas Eve from 9:00 to 9:30pm  for candlelight caroling....and a fire pit!

Christmas Pageant Update

Greetings Pageant Families,

This week has been quite a roller coaster for our St. Mary's family. With the rapid spread of the omicron variant and so many within our community testing positive, we can only do what we feel is best for our safety and to best witness to Christ's miraculous birth.

We are so very sorry to have to share with you that the 4pm Christmas Eve service and Christmas Pageant have been canceled. We know this news is tough for you and your children, but hope to model our commitment to caring for one another during this uncertain time.
Click here to see a special message to the Christmas Pageant children from Ms. Jackie.

Please keep one another in prayer, watch the 8pm Christmas Eve service that will still be live-streamed, and consider joining us for an OUTDOOR CHRISTMAS CAROL-SING at the Glebe Road entrance to St. Mary's from 9-9:30pm.

Blessings for health and joy in this season,

The Clergy, Staff and Vestry at St. Mary's
