A group that provides a setting in which people in their 20s and 30s (single, married, partnered, with or without kids!) can get to know one another, gather for fellowship, prayer and study, fun, and outreach projects. The group encompasses not only folks from St. Mary’s, but Episcopalians in their 20s and 30s from the Arlington, VA region.

Mission
To support worship on Sunday at the 9:00 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. services, and at special services, as crucifers, alms bearers, torch bearers and thurifers. This ministry strives to engage youth, 4th grade and up, in the richness of our Anglican worship tradition.

Baptism Preparation Classes

A baptismal preparation class is required for parents of children before the Baptismal Sunday. For adults, the Adult Membership/Confirmation class is required before Baptism. Please speak with one of our clergy (703) 527-6800 if you have any additional questions about preparation.

Chalice Bearers

Mission

Strives to provide a safe and fun environment for young children (ages newborn to three) to meet new friends and have fun while parents worship. The committee meets twice a year.

Children's Chapel

Mission
Children's Chapel takes place during the service of the word of the 9:00 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. services September through June. The order of service for Children's Chapel is adapted from the Book of Common Prayer. Children are invited into active participation throughout the chapel service.

The hope of Children's Chapel is to teach about our liturgy, to help our children know one other and their church community, and above all to worship God with joy.
